The NHS reminds me of the Dutch healthcare system of the '80s. We've luckily left that behind and improved since to become the consistent leader of the European healthcare league. The NHS sits somewhere near the middle wedged between former Soviet states. I however fail to see the connection with Brexit or "global Britain" (which is a joke of course. But that's only because the world is a very big place and loads of poor countries have bad healthcare. Within Europe however the UK is mediocre to lower-grade quality healthcare. Most other European countries have better healthcare than the UK. But it's The Netherlands that tops and consistently has topped the European healthcare league table. The Dutch system the UK should aspire to copy.
