I acknowledge that you and, no doubt, some other Palestinians believe that there are 'urgent prerequisites' (such as those you have nominated in your article) to the development of a liberation strategy for Palestine. However, these 'prerequisites' are not required in a strategic sense.

All that is needed is for one capable person (but preferably several) to conscientiously and thoughtfully plan a comprehensive nonviolent strategy to liberate Palestine and then start implementing it. If the plan is strategically sound, it will ultimately succeed irrespective of how many 'prerequisites' are unfulfilled at the beginning. This is because strategy is partly about creating the necessary conditions for a struggle to succeed.

I acknowledge your concern. The Nonviolence Charter was an attempt to be comprehensive but brief enough to be manageable.

It has the following provision:
9. Indigenous peoples in many countries have been dispossessed of their land, culture, spirituality and human rights by settler populations from other countries

Many people are well aware that the USA is based on land stolen from its indigenous people who were slaughtered in vast numbers. Unfortunately, it is not just the indigenous people of the 'USA' who have suffered in this way, and we wanted to acknowledge the suffering of other indigneous peoples too.
