About 45 years ago, I lived in Boston for five years. I had enough of real winter at that time. I'm a Southern girl, originally from Georgia and have been in the San Francisco most of my adult life -though I've visited 45 countries and 25 Caribbean islands. San Francisco has the perfect weather for me. I've been spending half of the last three years in India where I am also VERY hot but the cost of living is so affordable and I can get incredbile massage at $5 US/hour!!!

Actually, on my first return to San Francisco from four months in India, I made a five day stopover in Hong Kong....was on this very same street. Stayed at the Ramada in Kowloon, within walking distance of Victoria Harbor.

When I moved out of my home of fourteen years after retirement, prior to my first India trip, fifty pairs of shoes and almost as many bags went to Good Will. I've had to exercise great self control this five months in Jaipur not to buy any lovely Indian bags. Someone did give me a lovely mirrored one for my 68th birthday which I celebrated here on Oct 3.
