What a great idea - and thanks for the warning about toasting this. :-) I love bread, bake it a lot for home and to sell at my farmers markets, and I also buy Red Star yeast by the pound. It's the best! Pinned and Stumbled!

This is my favorite kind of dessert. I do something similar, but without the crust. These are lovely!

OMG. How's a girl supposed to choose??? Loving the coffee ice cream (you know how I feel about coffee, right? mother's milk, water of life, life's blood, etc.) I don't know how I'll get to them all without turning into a soccer ball! But, where there's a will, there's a way! :-D

Pinned this! I adore cakelet pans and these look sweet! I'm not much of a decorator, either, but how can you go wrong with these tips? Well, maybe I should take that part back. LOL. I would absolutely make your banana cakelet recipe, but I might try a lemon poppy seed cake, or maybe something with pineapple...

meh. I stopped watching Bourdain years ago. Every show was the same, no matter where he went in the world: Tony fishing or somehow otherwise attempting to catch something vaguely food-like; Tony drinking some kind of rotgut; Tony watching food (generally something completely disgusting) being prepared; Tony eating something completely disgusting. :P So, the CNN imprimatur can get him into places Travel Channel couldn't. That trade means he has to toe the network line, now. No wonder he was so uncomfortable.
