It totally depends on the mood. I am both, but even the serious reading has to be done for fun. I don't see why anybody would read a classic or literary fiction if not for the pleasure they get out of it.
If you look at my book list on GR you will find everything from trash to classics.

Every book can have a redeeming quality if it helps the reader at a specific moment. If you are down, fed up and need some trash romance to escape your humdrum life then that is the romance novel's redeeming quality.

Good list, Carin. Even though I have no idea what a Peel P50 is, as the video is "not available" in my country....(again). So what if some of the items are out of reach for now? Times change all the time.
