I'm with you! I've avoided getting a twitter despite the urging of certain blogging friends because I just don't have the time, energy or stress tolerance to spare for something like that. Blogging updates can be enough for me to have to read on top of work and school, let alone something like twitter.

HA HAHAHAHHA HA HAHA... I can cook, but I can't bake worth a damn. Once I turned boxed cake mix into brownies by switching the amounts of water and oil you put into them. It was terrible. It wasn't really brownies, but it certainly wasn't cake. It didn't raise properly and my poor mother (who's birthday it was for) dealt with it so sweetly. This sounds like one of those things you can laugh at later. You'll enjoy telling this one again when your kids are old enough to be embarrassed by it.

I have a friend like this, except I am younger and got married. I'm not to mommyhood yet, but she sometimes gives me this look like "Why would you get married and move to a foreign country at your age?". Funny thing is, she's coming around to a relationship that she thinks might be the one. Funny how they catch up to the rest of us.
