Fenton is a great guy. Very knowledgable hockey guy. As the second league commish before the conference has played a game, we kind of get what we get. That said, Fenton fought for a lot more and is working behind the scenes to improve what we have. Let's give him a chance. Plus, as a Miami man, I'm rooting for his success.

I think you took the comment out of context.

My point was more about calling foul on Malkin when the B's have several questionable players of their own.

I don't condone the antics of Matt Cooke (and to his credit he's toned it down considerably), but rather, was calling attention to the fact that IMO, the B's have several players such as McQuaid, Campbell, Chara and Marchand who play a similar style with hits that "should be out of the league."

That said, the Penguins were aggressive, moved the puck well and were all over the B's in a game where I'd suspect Boston would carry the play with their more physical style. The Penguins took their game to Boston rather than being intimidated.

I know you love the Bruins, Goon, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for them. It's a team of questionable players, a team of Matt Cooke's. I loved how Pittsburgh took the game to them yesterday. If they get Crosby back (and he's right), I don't know how anyone will beat them.

And, two of Miami, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame will not be going to the Joe for the CCHA championship weekend.

In their defense...they did defeat Michigan in Ann Arbor. However, it did come while the Wolverines were struggling. That said, a win at Yost is a win at Yost.

There were several teams looking at that Northern Michigan loss last night knowing a spot has been opened for bubble teams. That was a crushing defeat for the Wildcats. Next year...

Well, that's certainly true, too. LOL
