Girl, you had me at "Puke". I'm glad you found a silver lining in the situation. The only thing better than uninterrupted sleep during the day is uninterrupted sleep during the day when you're not sick and/or pregnant. So you got the second best thing. Good for you!

That quote really hits home. I love the big planned things like our trip to Disney last winter, but when I look back on my own childhood my best memories are when my parents took us into the backyard and just played with us. Our simple at-home birthday parties with cousins and the time I didn't get in trouble for making a cat out of scotch tape on the door of my dad's home office.

HA! First this post really motivated me to spend more time on my kids devotional. And then I got to laugh and laugh at how yours turned out! My son is 6 now, so his wack-a-do prayer requests have mostly dissolved into more understandable ones.
