Yeah, it did force me to realize how different writing a book without any sort of outline is! I usually have a little one to refer back to, but all I knew was the ending, so it would've been pretty crappy anyway. And thanks! I've been studying all day today for it, so hopefully I'll be prepared by the time Thursday rolls around!

I was with you in spirit, then! :)

Great advice! I used to have this problem so much when I was younger, but setting it in the same world can definitely help jumpstart your creativity for your other current WIPs. Awesome idea.

It's just annoying because GIANT FANTASY SERIES is pounding at my brain all day today! It's all I can think about! So I'm plotting to my heart's content, then saving it for NaNo. NaNo is the other time when completely changing directions is acceptable!

Game of Thrones is AMAZING, a really great start to the series, but the books are SO. LONG. I love me some thick tomes, but once you get up to books 4 and 5, it really lags on you. But GoT is awesome. Get on it, girl!

Thanks! I've been querying for a couple of months, but not a lot of bites so far! I'm gonna see how the last batch of queries I've sent out does, but in the meantime, I feel like this draft is improving upon a lot of the problems that the other ones had, so if the queries don't do so well, I'll probably just concentrate on that.

Discipline, my friend! It's all about discipline!

So I guess you have the opposite problem as me!

The story was super entertaining to write. I was sitting at my desk, scribbling in my notebook, cackling to myself while my roommates gave me weird looks.

Moleskins are awesome! I don't know what it is about them, but I love them.

Yeah, finished one is very satisfying. I used to write in composition books as well! :)

I was actually thinking that as well, but I don't know! It would definitely make sense but I think it would've made the book stronger if Sam's character was well-developed.
