Oh I DO hope you get to What I Learned in Narnia! Although you do seem to have plenty else on your plate to keep you occupied. :)

As always, I love reading through your list!

Truth matters and so does attitude. Yup!

This is definitely an area I struggle in. I hadn't heard of this book but as I mentioned in another comment on your Nighstand post, I'll be adding this one to my list!

I always like looking through your list. This particular month I'm attracted most to Humble Orthodoxy. And if you liked it then it's going on my list!

I haven't been caught off guard by anything recently, necessarily. But through some rounds of avoiding and eventually doing what I know I'm supposed to. Making a conscious decision to obey is more difficult for me to do the older I get, the more challenging the instructions. :) (I smile but it's hard as you know.)

(Let's try this....!)

The Merchant’s Daughter sounds like a very nice guilty pleasure! Only I don't know that I would feel guilty about it! Your reading lists are always personally challenging.

Wrecked has my attention at the moment. That feels like life again in various forms or fashions. Sounds intriguing!

Well, you are certainly reading hefty books so I'd give yourself some grace there! I'm glad you linked up. It's always so fun to see what people are muddling through. I LOVED Crime & Punishment. I haven't read War & Peace but I think I would like to. (Working up the courage!) :D

Best of luck to you!

Where to even start!?Where to even start!?

Good for you for sticking with your fall reading plan! I'm definitely trying to hold to that as my ultimate goal.

Glad to hear you liked The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

I was offered a copy of "A Woman's Right to Rest" for review but I felt it looked "suspicious" so I declined. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on it.

Sarah's Key seems well liked by everyone. I think I shall have to give that one a try!

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks! Who was that who mentioned that first? Was it Suzanne? It still sounds interesting. :D I had forgotten about that one.

Good to know about Water for Elephants. I keep picking it up and putting it down, picking it up and putting it down. I think I'll just leave it alone, but I'm glad that you pointed out exactly why you'd not recommend it. Very helpful! Thanks.

I almost didn't want to read your list because I knew there would be books here that I would then want to read. :X

:D

Pain: The Gift Nobody Wants. That looks particularly striking.
