I have never met a graphic novel I liked but I STARTED READING FABLES AND I ENJOY IT and I just put Lumberjanes on hold at the library, so I am clambering into the boat with you. Scootch over.

Although I wouldn't even have LOOKED at it if you hadn't been like, what up, vial.

The third one is the best, imo. You'll spend the first bit being like w t F because you know something is going on other than what appears to be going on. It was pleasing and infuriating (the good kind).

No, ok, there are some SERIOUSLY GREAT parts to the Tales. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm SAYING is, too many people try to sell them based on the HA HA LOW-BROW HUMOR like dick jokes are some sort of universal attractant.

People keep trying to sell the Tales all like, Oh, some of them are HILARIOUSLY FILTHY, and I am like, No. You can't make me read something MODERN by telling me it's raunchy, ok? A story where the punchline is a dude accidentally kissing a lady's 'nether ye' (HE MEANS ASSHOLE HAHAHAHA GOOD JOKE) isn't automatically a winner. Ok? Ok.

I think we are all in agreement as to the not-goodness of this book. I say that having read exactly this post and these comments (and also the book, which I guess counts for something).
