This is a nothing story...so what that he asked someone to "please stop." If you watch, first he squints (which usually indicates something in the IED) then he looks DOWN, and then he looks back. To me it looks more like he was probably talking to either a grip, a production assistant, a makeup person, or someone else that was doing something that they may not have been supposed to be doing and it was distracting to him. I have no problem with this. He didn't "bark" as Mr. Breitbart wrote and there is ZERO indication he was talking to Kiran. He politely asked them to stop whatever it was they were doing that was distracting to him. While he may have been talking to her, to me it is foolish to assume that he was, especially when the tape seems to indicate otehrwise.

George Bush was a moron who did nothing but dishonor us and surround himself with bloos suckers who destroyed the integrity and traditions of the Republican party.

If you've read my other posts, I am an Athiest, but that doesn't mean I don't have standards for excellence. I think the bible is a good book you can learn things from...but then you can learn things from Hans Christian Anderson too if you have half a brain. But I believe in "live and let live." If you think that Jesus, or Mohammad or Moses or Buddah or anything else helps you from blowing either your brains or someone else's brains out then that's great...just don't force it on me.

I don't enjoy pissing people off or starting unnecessary fights. I have opinions and I can back them up. A lot of the stuff on here is just childish namecalling without any real thought or explanations...just yelling. I have no time for that in my life. If I want yelling I can just go talk to my wife and get an earful of it.

No Right Hope... I thank you for the compliment. But I'm afraid you make a couple of errors.

I don't tend to read these comments and this will be my last one.

For the record, I loathe Obama. He's been a disgrace and he, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are a national nightmare that will hoepfully come to an end in November.

I thought Reagan's first term in office was nothing short of brilliant and remarkable. I beleive by his second term he wasn't the same person and that' when the snakes came out and ran wild and scandlas started to break out. However, I still think that overall he was tremendous. He did some thing that I disagree with, I didn't say he was perfect, but he was a great President.

I hope that you're kidding and not being snotty about a simple typing error.

Look, I was raised Jewish and did the whole Born Again thing for 9 years and fortunately logic and my brain prevailed over ridiculous fairy tales. I'm FAR happier than I've ever been not buying into any of this craziness. As far as I'm concerned the world would be a FAR better place if none of these dopey religions got any special treatment. You wantto close these deficits, start taxing the churches and synagogues and the rest of these flim-flam artists.

But putting my personal religious hostility aside for a moment, the idea of "less offensive projects" has to do with businesses and not religions. You start picking on one and the PRECEDENT is set that you can start moving against others. There is no law in place anywhere about this and to suggest otherwise as you said, goes against every principle of this country. As much as I don't want to see it built, there's not hing that anyone can LEGALLY do to stop it.

KMichaels, Must you reply with an insult rather than a thought out statement?

First of all, I beleive the building is two blocks away from where ANY of the buildings went down. Second, they are NOT replacing any of the towers. Third, What you wrote is completely ridiculous. Did you just want to pop off about something without thinking about it first? Ther eare no laws prohibiting it because there can't be lws prohibiting it. What's to stop you from saying there are to be no churches in certain areas or no Temples or no (fill in the blank).

You obviously don't understand the legal concept of precident. Perhaps you should look it up and learn a little about it and why that would be bad and giving it a little thought before lashing out.

Commenting on this iste is not something that I usually do and I also don't read comments because of stuff liek this. People get computer brave and lash out without thinking and I don't believe discourse should go that way. SO you can write whatever you like, I'm through with it. Just think a little more before you write.

AGAIN...

I DO NOT want to see the mosque there. But we are a nation of laws and in terms of the laws, it's NOT breaking any.

To that degree, Oblame-a Bush is totally in the right and Rush is completely wrong. ACCORDING TO THE LAW. THe court of public opinion however is something entirely different. It would have been nice if the Resident in Chief had said something stronger worded in terms of NOT wanting it and finding it offensive and all of that, while at the same time stating what I did which is that it's NOT illegal and should not be stopped in terms of it being built.

What will be REALLY interesting is seeing if all these tough talking Union guys cave and accept the money that will inevitably be thrown at them or will they refuse to work on it. THAT is the real interesting part of this story to follow.
