I've tried reading the Immortal Rules, and I just couldn't get into it. There's enough people talking about it again that it makes me almost want to pick it up and give it another shot, but I doubt that I will. Shiver sounds really amazing.

Dealing with Dragons! My 6th grade teacher would read that out loud to us. I loved those books so much. I now need to track them down and give them a home on my shelf.

I've been looking into self hosting and there's so many options that it's overwhelming!

Have you considered doing camp nano? It's coming up in April and you can set your own word count---kind of like a warm up for NaNoWriMo.

I haven't read Patterson either. His sheer amount of work out there intimidates me if that makes any sense. I wouldn't know where to start. I started the Mercy Thompson series and they're decent--quick reads, I like them.
