I've only read two of Kiersten White's books--PARANORMALCY and MIND GAMES--and I'm just not sure that her books work for me. I did like PARANORMALCY and wouldn't mind giving the sequel a try, but I'm wary toward her books. That said, I've heard good things about her new work--AND I DARKEN, THE CHAOS OF STARS, and ILLUSIONS OF FATE--and just might have to read them.

First off, I LOVE YOUR GLASSES. My frames are kind of big, but I want bigger ones because they're COOL. Secondly, YOU'RE A COSPLAYER? That is SO COOL. And oh my gosh, it would be so cool to cosplay as Celaena Sardothien. I'm going to Emerald City Comic Con and debating if I should do a (not very serious) cosplay, and I've been thinking of maybe going as Princess Mononoke. SPEAKING OF WHICH. I love your question about Disney or Miyazaki. I'm a Disney addict, but at the end of last year I watched HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE and that spurred a legit obsession with Miyazaki and Ghibli films. I must watch them all. (Favorites so far are HOWL'S, SPIRITED AWAY, PRINCESS MONONOKE, PONYO, and FROM UP ON POPPY HILL, I think.) But seriously: OBSESSED. (I'm looking at other anime, too. Last week I watched WOLF CHILDREN.) Thanks for joining in!

Hmmm, I wonder if I should have more interest in THE LIES ABOUT THE TRUTH. It's getting some hype! And I've heard really, really good things about FAKING NORMAL.

I really need to read the Lumatere Chronicles and hopefully will this summer--I've heard such good things! I liked THE FIXER and the feel it had--it really is a lot like SCANDAL just with less affairs with the president--and I finished THE SACRED LIES OF MINNOW BLY last night/this morningish and am still simmering on it. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US is so adorable and fluffy and now I want to reread it, and I need to read UPROOTED because the reviews have been stellar.

I recently read GRAVE MERCY and DARK TRIUMPH and they were so good, and of course I ended up buying MORTAL HEART and just need the time to read it. Rainbow Rowell and Sarah Dessen also made my list (my favorite of hers is ALONG FOR THE RIDE with THIS LULLABY in a close second). Great list, and I need to read a lot of these authors' books--like Jane Austen!

I still need to read the last book in the Newsoul, Grisha, and Across the Universe series. I never finished CITY OF BONES, and I've been meaning to read THE PLEDGE but just haven't gotten to it. And the finale to the Gone series is one of the best I've ever read, so get on that!
