I disenfranchise the dead. I work with True The Vote and you can too. We're verifying the recall election in Wisconsin right now. Verify The Recall. I also tell people I disenfranchise the dead, and they are shocked to hear that Texas has this problem. It's everywhere. Now, groups in 30+ states are following the lead of True The Vote. There may be a group in your area. Come help us!

HillBuzz.org : Everyone Deserves A Comeback -- the Whitney Houston I'll Remember

...maybe she did. From her Wiki page: At one point guests of the hotel became so concerned that they reported her behavior to security after she was seen doing handstands by the hotel pool. Houston attended a party that evening held by Kelly Price at Tru nightclub in Hollywood, California. A scuffle was narrowly avoided with singer Stacy Francis. Reports say that Houston got belligerent and her boyfriend Ray J was forced to step in, although he defended Francis. Houston attempted to raise her hand, but was calmed down. Later in the evening, Houston gave what is now her final onstage performance when she took to the stage along with Price for a one minute performance of Jesus Loves Me.

Thanks for telling us about Whitney, Kevin. I remember when that indescribable voice still flowed from her, effortlessly and as clearly as a mountain waterfall fed by melting snow in springtime. I hope she had time to return to her roots in faith before she died. I want her to be singing with the angels.

Without getting too much into the logistics of the argument here, this isn't go to look good for him. He's made similar remarks about women in the past. He's old-fashioned. That's fine...as long as it's between him and his wife. The fact of the matter is that the majority of Americans believe women should be able to serve in combat roles. Most of us are reasonable, rational individuals, who don't adhere to feminazi beliefs, but when you start trying to take the blame off the women and say, "No, No...it's not you, it's the men..." we see right through that BS. If a man can't do his job effectively, he needs to find another line of work. Don't blame and punish the women for your faults.

Take another look at Bella his infant daughter. She has Trisomy 18. This is something that is similar to Downs Syndrome. If there is a way of attacking Rick Santorum like they did with Sarah Palin, it willl have to be an attack on his daughter.

He also has to stop answering questions (like Scalia does) by giving a logical and legal answer. (For example: Can states ban birth control? Both Scalia and Santorum would "see" it as as states rights issue and say "Yes".) Santourm needs to get some pat answers such as: "Why would a state ever do such a thing? Why are you asking me something that will never happen and it's something I can do nothing about?" He needs to stop falling into traps that come out as: Santorum wants states to ban birth control." Or "Santorum says states can ban birth control." People walk away thinking: Santorum wants to take away my birth control. They did this to Sarah when she said she was pro-life and thought it should be a state issue. (I and many others think so too.) Women (such as Roseanne and Winona Ryder) were screaming SP was going to ban abortion. Yet when you look at her record as governor, she attempted nor hinted at no such thing. She just lived her convictions. Santorum had better start coming up with good answers for ridiculous situational questions because he is going to get them. And he has to make a distinction between his personal beliefs and what he wants to force on others. Or he will be toast. And I don't want him to be toast.

A quick note - Al Gore actually lost Floriday. There were at least three different audits (one account I read said eight) of the vote by news organizations.
-Second one is the prodigal sons. Interestingly a lot of MK's and pastors' kids fall into the category. They are the ones who know better, but compromise or choose to disobey or have been wronged (in reality or only their perception) by another Christian. The excuse is generally, well the others [Christians] are doing it, or are hypocrites, or whatever else. They forget that the Church is the hospital for the sick and nursery for the young Christians. As C.S. Lewis wrote we are amphibious creatures, with our bodies we belong to the physical world, with souls to the spiritual, but what we do in one, affects the other. When prodigals wander/compromise, it affects their thinking and makes them bitter. Bitter at themselves and blaming God and/or other Christians. They are the ones who Paul warns about falling away.
I loved the orig focus of the Tea Party, which was Fiscal Conservatism. That brings people from both sides together. But when people start quoting scripture, you then push others away.

Based on the comments sprinkled on this thread, I'd say the obvious answer is that it's human nature. The left as a group is no more stupid, miserable, of poor character or amoral than anyone else. We all have a need to "know" that our belief systems are correct, so we tend to shut out what conflicts with them as evil or wrong. Some of us (ie: Kevin, Bastiat Fan above, myself) have the ability to eventually see the error in our beliefs and admit we were wrong; others on both sides of the political aisle do not (even some that vehemently claim to follow the teaching of Christ). Trust me, the people that post on Democratic Underground and HuffPo are no less certain of their correctness than people who post here. They are no less determined to "win" than people here. Usually what opens people eyes is a traumatic experience that will not allow them to keep "taking the blue pill" (such as the fiasco in the 2008 election did for may Buzzers). If they have that moment and "come to the other side" only to be lambasted and called names, you will not win them over. That is exactly why so many disenfranchised former democrats remain non-affiliated to this day; the republican party was much less than welcoming and ever-insistent that you cannot be a fiscal conservative and a social moderate. If you want to understand the left, you need to realize that they, like even the most radical right winger, are human beings that want to have something to believe in. For me, that something was this great Republic. I suspect in their own way that is the same for many on the left (I am not speaking of political operatives here). Perhaps the way to breech the wall is to understand that we're really all on the same "side" but we disagree on what needs to be done to keep America strong. Use the analogy of the Super Bowl. Two teams, the best of their leagues, are fighting for the same thing. It doesn't really mean that whoever wins in that much superior to the other - after all, both teams made it to the game. it just means someone had a better strategy at the moment for that articular situation. If people can learn to take a step back and study their opponent's strategy (like football teams do all year) then they have a better chance of winning than the team that just insists "my way is better" (are you listening Cocktail party?). And never dismiss the players on the other team - you never know when they'll be traded to your team!

One more thing I forgot to mention....in those confusing interviews that Ulsterman has conducted, the one very important point that I picked up was that Obama is an atheist who does not believe that he will have to answer for his sins after he dies and is now in a position where he doesn't have to pay for them while on Earth, as well. So many believe that he is a muslim but the insider being interviewed mentioned that his "religion" is Anti-Americanism and he takes the sides of any group or individual that he perceives as being treated unfairly by this country. A new aspect to his mindset is brought to light with his hatred of the Catholic Church and the only sense I can make of that is linking it back to the Crusades which initially began when the Muslims were blocking access to Jerusalem for any non-Muslim about 1000 yrs ago. I'm not sure on that one, it's just my guess but all of this brings up some interesting points!!

The Socialist Propagandastaffel would be forced to explain why Soetoro is kept from running in a state if found ineligible. That would expose him as a criminal usurper and render all his decisions as an alleged "president" null and void. And as an identity thief and forger, as well as a traitor, he would be thrown in jail.
Reading this breaks my heart, coregis. We have all done stupid things, and some of us have walked away without having to pay the price. You are paying the price, and I am praying that this will be the start of a new you, one who thinks before acting. I pray that your family will be healed by the miraculous transformation you will make in jail. Remember, many of Jesus' disciples spent time in jail. They wrote the letters that were included in the Bible from jail. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have been thinking about how I was afraid Kevin and HillBuzz would disappear while Kevin was ill. In his absence, others stepped up to keep the site alive, becoming good bloggers in their own right in the process. But I am still concerned about the costs Kevin bears to keep the site alive. So my prayer is that, today, 50 HillBuzz readers decide to give up one $5 choice each month and direct that $5 to HillBuzz through the Subscription link. I believe that when we develop an attitude of gratitude we grow in character. In my opinion, we readers have grown in understanding of the real battle we face for the soul of our country, because of Kevin's conversion to conservatism. This is worth $5 a month. Heavenly Father, please work in the hearts of HillBuzz readers today, and awaken them to the benefits of helping HillBuzz remain online. Help us see that most of us can easily afford a $5 subscription, and make us thankful enough for HillBuzz to get us off the couch and to the "Subscribe" button. Please bless Kevin's work and the work of all who post here, protect them as they do their important work on behalf of America. Make us worthy of their effort, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
