Chad, Its funny( interesting), the things that stand out to us in reading, what catches the eye of one is not seen by another, for example for some reason out of all you've openly shared here this in particular jumped out at me..On the outside, it would look like it would be easy for me to show up; my life hasn’t had a lot of those painful detours. I don’t appear to wear much shame makeup when I go out and about. Somehow this brought to mind the scene in the movie Hook with Robin Williams, where he is being face massaged by the little boy and after pressing the grown up Peter's face in unnatural contortions exclaims, 'Oh, there you are Peter!' I love how the Father's love for us is such that he calls to us to come forth out from the shame makeup that has clouded our hearts and minds from knowing the specialness of being His beloved child.

Justin is from our home town of Stratford Ontario, he's a neat kid, he and his mom were and still are friends with my son, they hung out a lot when he was younger. His mom and Justin do love the Lord, but like most all of us, we were totally embraced and excepted with all of our previous baggage, somehow that didn't threaten the Father one wit! I believe wholeheartedly the Father is working in their hearts bringing them to see its perfectly okay to be whose and who they are, to live less than that is denying the world of seeing and hearing the Father's heart!

Chad, My first time visiting here, I so appreciate your thoughts as well as the others, thanks. What I'm wondering after reading here is this, to the degree I am not really secure in the love of whose and who I am, then isn't the alternative going to simply be a caustic reactionary stance toward anyone who just doesn't see it the "right way-my way?" The whole hungry man-trance-Joppa-Peter thing imo, was a loving God and Father deeply offending a "born-again" son of God's mind in order to reveal some none kosher heart thinking. Please don't call unclean what I have cleansed. As in so many other things at least in my life, I too am seeing the graciousness of Father offending my religious thinking in order to expand and enlarge my heart toward the others He longs to be made known to.
