That drawing is so nice! I really need to revamp my about page, too, but I've never gotten the chance. I really should take some time to update everything, though! OOOOH, have fun in Japan!! I haven't even been out of my country, but I love living vicariously through others.

Yay, congratulations on graduation & the scholarships! You've done so much these past couple months IRL so it's totally okay to slack off reading and/or blogging :). Also--thanks for letting my guest post on your blog! I really enjoyed doing WIFSY so maybe I'll do a couple on my own blog if I remember. UM. HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY IN MY TIMEZONE?!!! (it's literally 12:34am, IT COUNTS.) Much love for ya, Soph!

P.S. I just did a Harry Potter post, too!

Personally, I hate shallow, whiny characters. Sometimes I'm frustrated with how they act alone, but other times I get frustrated by the character's interaction with another character. With the latter, it's usually a romance book and, you know, you get frustrated because the two love interests are STILL NOT TOGETHER! But, with that kind of frustration, I kind of like it and it adds to the enjoyment because at least I'm feeling something and I'm hooked by the book.

I actually HATE instalove... it's my least favorite trope! Ya girl loves a slow burning, genuinely frustrating romance in the best way possible! Love triangles on the other hand, I enjoy a lot. They keep me in suspense & drive the plot. The thing with romance is, I hate when it overpowers the plot unless the book is explicitly a romance! Like for fantasies, romance should be considered a subplot.

Aw, Holly, I am so sorry to hear about Ransom. I do hope your other cats and kitties are alright. I've been job searching as well but alas, no luck for me either for the same reason! How do they ever do it in books?? It seems like they just magically get the job, no interview or resume needed *sigh*. If only that was real life. Good luck with the job search though and taking care of those kitties!

Welcome almost-back! I just came back from a hiatus myself due to school, but your reasons are way more justifiable than mine. I hope I can study abroad some day. I hope you can get your studies funded and I look forward to hearing about your time in Taiwan!

Wow good job! I took part in this also, but didn't get a single Bingo /: they were all off by one or two squares! Sad to hear you didn't like Three Dark Crowns. I haven't read a Kendare Blake book before but this one seems really interesting and that cover is gorgeous. I haven't read Female of the Species but I do own it so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Oh my goodness, Aila! I love that fan art so much, like she should make swag for that. I'm looking forward to this one so much; it was actually on my list for top anticipated May releases! I'm glad you liked this one; it only makes me more excited to read it :).

I actually really love your synopsis! I've never heard of a book on conjoined twins, either, but this one interests me because of that. I think if I wrote a synopsis for this, it would have to do with painting and astronomy.
