You know, you're right. I hadn't thought about that. It's like a little kid designed the infrastructure, drew it out with crayons and the engineers implemented it.

It can be done, though - lanes can merge and there can be proper lane markings and signage to indicate an upcoming merge. Or they can keep letting us play bumper cars, which is what I figure will be the case anyway.

If they just painted lines on the effing roads, I would let every single last thing slide. Seriously, I am just so tired of driving with mere centimeters between me and cars on both sides because people create 5 lanes where there should be 3.

As a foreign woman in Jordan, I can say without a doubt that Jordanian women receive just as much harassment as foreign women, and never mind that they might be wearing hijab and jilbab. The honor code, apparently, only applies to one's own mother, sister, daughter, female cousin - men don't take into consideration when they harass women that they are harassing someone else's mother, sister, daughter or female cousin.

I wear black a LOT because it is slimming. :-) But I agree - people shouldn't wear only the same color, it gets boring!

Rand, you forgot the Abdoun Habeebti's. Driving daddy's Cadillac Escalade, steering with the palms of their hands (so as not to mess the fresh manicure) with a mobile wedged between their ear and shoulder - you know if they got out of the car they would also be wearing those pedicure flip-flops with Fine between their toes! :-)

I agree... but can we please get the men out of the underwear sales departments? I will never get over having to announce my bra size to a male clerk and have him pull lingerie off the rack with suggestions! :-p

OK, I don't think I'm a bitter Khalto, but I do get aggressive with a shopping cart.____I mean, why do people have to bring their ENTIRE FAMILIES to the grocery store to block the aisles? When you have the mother, father, 11 children and a couple of aunties all standing in the middle of the store trying to decide which brand of rice to buy... and they don't respond to "excuse me" in any language... sometimes you have to push. :-)

When I was trying to hire a secretary, I received numerous CV's with "Pretty" or "Good Looking" in the list of skills.

Once I picked myself up after laughing hysterically, I was shocked. How stupid are these girls?
