I was upset when I discovered all the old comments had been wiped away. There was some solid feedback in some of them.

Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane and giving my story a read though.

That video is the greatest slap in the face delivered from one company to another of all time.

Oh, we're honest about that too. We recognize that there is such a thing as positive feminism, those people who truly fight for gender equality. And then their are the vocal extremists who actively hate and work to subvert men, bringing them down instead of raising women up.

I point you to the introduction of breeding, dual type pokemon, the special/physical split, the various changes in how stat increases work, the introduction of move tutors and moves that can be taught via breeding, abilities, PokeRus, various forms of non-combative contests, pokemon having different formes with different stats, abilities and even types and each generation bringing us a clearer and more engaging narrative.

I agree with nearly every point you bring up in this video.

But Bob... Pokemon HAS constantly changed and evolved over the years, constantly modifying and refining its systems, game play (even if you might not notice it) and narrative structures from generation to generation. Each new generation of games in the series has brought numerous new features as well as tweaks and additions to other ones, bringing much needed depth to the gameplay for those who are looking for it.

So wait, why wouldn't any movie version of Wicked be based off the book? You realize the book came first, right? And it was the popularity of the book that spawned the lighter and friendlier musical version, right?
