I've had that same edition of the Abhorsen Chronicles for 3 years! I only cracked it open recently because it's so huge and unwieldy. But with Clariel coming out soon, I hope I can read it in the foreseeable future.
And you got The Mime Order!!! I want that one so badly. Oh and you're definitely going to shed some tears over The Book Thief. Totall worth it though!

Awesome list, you should definitely read more by all of them! I love Brenna Yovanoff, but I haven't read Paper Valentine yet. The Replacement is fantastic though! Same for The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I need this third book!
I haven't read Of Beast and Beauty and I'll Give You The Sun, but I've heard amazing things about both of them and want to check them out :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Laini Taylor and Leigh Bardugo are sooo good! I've read both their trilogies and all the books were fantastic :)
I still haven't read Red Rising, but I really want to! Especially now that the second books is coming. Same with These Broken Stars. It feels like it just came out, but it's simply time running way too fast...
Thanks for stopping by on Tuesday and for encouraging me to read Ballad :)

This definitely sounds like a suspenseful read, even if the whole seeing-digits-on-forehead thing reminds me a bit of Death Note. I'm intrigued by Maddie's family situation and the whole being a suspect herself thing though! Thanks for highlighting this one, and for stopping by earlier!

You definitely have some of my favorite characters there! I looove Nikolai - I just read the 2nd and 3rd Grisha book within the last week :) I alsmost picked rabid-fairy Zuzana too! She and Mik are so awesome and cute.
I also thought about Will and Caelena because they're among my top favorite characters but somehow I just couldn't picture them in a cafeteria... ^^'
Great list! Thanks so much for stopping by mine, and cool how we agree about Cam and the Fallen series :D

I'm seeing The Art of Lainey everywhere at the moment :) The others are new to me, but I hope you enjoy them all!

Definitely sounds fun and intriguing! I always like getting a glimpse of a world I know I'll never get access to in real life ;)

The Drowned Forest looks really interesting and that cover is creeptastic! I'm not quite sold on Cracked yet but I'm curious to see some reviews.
Thanks for stopping by :) Love your header, by the way.

I loooove maps! I actually squeed when I saw the one in Days of Blood and Starlight because I was wishing for one in Daughter of Smoke and Bones! And of course I've stared at Middle Earth for hours on end, remembering all the names of things :) The map in Throne of Glass is awesome as well! But my copy of Shadow and Bone did not have a map o.O I feel cheated!

Amanda drew her katana in one fluid, elegant motion. That move alone decapitated the first dummy. She then started spinning and twisting, bringing the sword down in near-invisible arcs of silver cutting through the morning air. Seconds later, no dummy was left standing. She looked about the debris, thinking that she really preferred real opponents - walking through the ashes of the bloodsuckers you brought down was so much more satisfying.
