Core is so important - Great Post!
Found it! This is why I blog as well. Gives me a place to share our lives, hopefully to encourage others that they too can step forward and live a fulfilled life! I like to share what the Lord puts in my heart as well.
I agree. I think I get overwhelmed if I sit down to a huge detailed list. I do spend a month in the fall and the month of December planning out the goals of the next 6 months and figuring out if I have the resources in the house to meet those goals. On days when we have 'nothing to do' seem to be the whirlwind days that we get the most done!
We prepared it the way you said, soak, slow boil, less water - and presto - the boys love it! Beef Broth too. Thank you so much!
A Wonderful Review! I'm enjoying reading these this morning - I'm convinced I need to get a bulk discount to buy them for all of my friends! Thanks for sharing your review!
Dancing Mal was AWESOME!!!!!! WOOOT!
Stopping by from the Crew. I miss seeing your graphic up at the top on the Google Reader. I have to remember to click through to see all the fun designs! We keep a running conversation at our house, and I try to keep my ears open for their beginning interests. I've learned not to jump to fast or deep, to squelch. Like a fire, the beginning is soft, blowing, soft tinder, slowly before the flame. Keeping this going will create better coals than a quickly flamed flire that goes out with no coals. Reading has been that way. Going this way and that finding out what they want to learn about - to read about. Slow and Steady. (Angie W.)
What a generous pa you have there! The kids look thrilled. Just think of the sugar crash nap you'll get to enjoy!
Bravo! - But, What I take from this - is that I Could have a side goal of sounding like a crazy Beyoch - and I Could say it is scary to take advice from someone who's kids are now lazy shifting emotional crzed shells of adults who wouldn't know what a passion for learning looked like if we paid them to watch videos on it . . . . or something like that. ;)
Thanks for bringin us back! Ours is a similar story - of how much the district wanted "done" to my son before he could be ready for kindergarden. Really? I am glad we took the red pill as well. ;)
