You're SO right! My son has similar issues (although I did not have a drug-exposed pregnancy!) and he has been through a year of OT & other therapies to help with his sensory processing disorder. As crazy as it drives you sometimes - your kids are still perfect no matter what their issues! :) Great way to stay positive!

If she was willing to abort the baby from a positive test she should be willing to offer her up for adoption if she can't handle the down syndrome. Not to mention waiting 4 years to pull this stunt was stupid. If you have a Down's syndrome child you know it when they are born and therapy needs to be started right away - not wait until they are preschoolers!
