Not the same guy. But looks like a similar situation.

What are you jibbering about? An "active protest going on"? You know that's not a *thing* right? The OP has every right to go into the Apple store, and the protesters have zero right to stop him. It's not a difference of opinion, it's one group of people unlawfully interfering with a person going about his lawful business. If Occupy want to protest Apple (while holding iPhones) then they have every right to do so. Physically obstructing members of the public? Not so much.

I wasn't there, obviously, but given the line "if you tried to walk past them, you got shoved back outside their circle", it doesn't sound like 'excuse me' was effective.

As a former writer at TechCrunch, I have no idea what SocialVibe is.

I disagree. Passionately.

The week summarises coverage from elsewhere. Ours will be entirely original writing. Big difference. That said, if we end up with a 'product' (ugh) half as good as The Week then we're on to a damn good thing.

Agree that the Atlantic is wonderful of late. James Bennet has done a great job.

Agree that iPad/Kindle is not the right reading format for every occasion. We're going to address that. More soon.

Appreciate the feedback and questions.
