It's exciting when we say "yes" to God ... sounds like a wonderful adventure of faith and exciting time of renewal and encouragement for yourselves and those you will meet. :)

I'm going to look into that book and quiz you mention on the Five Love Languages for Teens. I've read The Five Love Languages, but not the one for teens or heard of the quiz. Thanks for sharing the resource.

What a loving God, a loving Heavenly Father we have. (coming from Soli Deo Gloria)

"doors locked... hearts busy...no time for coddling slippery slopes..." Oh, the church will have much to answer for. May we have eyes to see, ears to hear.

What a thoughtful and sensitive post. I have seen many Hindus worship, and there is a longing and sometimes a desperation I can't describe. I recently went on a trip to India. Thank you for sharing this.

Color means a lot to me, too, and I thought of many of the same things you did. It would be dull and lifeless without color in our world! Enjoyed your post.

So much of what a mother does seem to go unnoticed, except by the Father. It is indeed a loving sacrifice in many ways. The story you share above is an encouraging... a harvest is coming, and we cannot imagine how good it can be. :)

Oh, I understand homesickness, it's a longing, a bittersweet feeling. Your English words are lovely.

This post touched my heart. "The One the grave could not hold, holds me while resurrecting all lack." -- and He's the only one who can do such a thing, produce from our lack and weakness and failure. I'm longing to embrace the moments of "dandelions, change and embrace the vital". Thank you for these words.
