Thank you so much, Cynthia. I'm convinced this is the most common and easiest area of attack that so many of us experience, especially women, and you are absolutely right. We would probably all be surprised to find that what is going on inside our heads is going on inside just about everyone else's too! I have so appreciated all your encouragement. Hey there! I have been out of town for a couple of weeks and am just now seeing this. I hear you and agree that we need to stand up for biblical truth, and I know I'm guilty of getting far too discouraged by what goes on each day in this country and how much worse it's all getting. My purpose in writing this was to hopefully encourage other believers to not get caught up in the hype and start believing the lies that are being thrown at us. We ARE compassionate. We ARE loving. To go along with everyone else's distorted version of 'truth' would be the OPPOSITE of loving. Basically, I see too many people out there getting confused, and that just adds to my discouragement.

It's hard to believe parents would actually be supportive of that sort of thing, but I think it shows how desensitized we are to sexual imagery. And how relative everything has become.

Me too. I always say every family is different, and every child is different. I hate the 'parenting wars' I see everywhere now. There are entirely too many people meddling in everyone else's business these days. As parents we should all work to build each other up instead of tear each other down. It's such a hard and important job!
