I know. My brother and I stayed out of trouble thankfully. No way I would have disrespected my mom by doing something like that! I think this new tech area is great but can cause issues with people and boundaries. Adults, too. Oh my gosh, I would have flipped if my son said that to me! Who knew the truckloads of patience we'd need???? My situation has been interesting (to say the least) with the divorce and time-sharing (plus loads of other related stuff I wouldn't discuss in cyberspace). All I know is, we have to hope and do what we must to take care of ourselves and our kids and it's sure not easy at times. I think of you often and your family is in my prayers. Please, do let me know if you need anything. . .even just to vent. I'll send you my # if you want it. xoxoxo

I'm so sorry you're going through this right now. I am going to sound redundant and say the same: therapy with a great doctor who your daughter feels comfortable with. Finding her holding the knife and knowing she's furious at you takes it to a whole another level. We love our children BEYOND anything they can comprehend but we have to look out for ourselves and the well being of the entire family, too. The best thing you can do to show how much you love her is to get her professional help. Geez, some of the things our kids have to deal with that we never did growing up. It's so different now. I'm praying for all of you. If you need anything, you know how to reach me. Love you. xoxoxo
