The meanings of feminism and socialism will inevitably be distorted by the powerful ;'empowerment was always open to misuse . The now empowered women take 'Rights' to mean 'a right to be an oppressor, equality with the oppressor. This is not feminism.. Its so obvious how division is the method of the powerful : the focus should be on being together fighting the power structures of imperialist government, but this doesn't mean feminism is wrong.
They love it when the peasants are disagreeing about trans rights in pubic toilets or whether you ar anti-racist enough.

This is the turning point for the US to be told by the rest of the world that it is just one country amongst others and no longer an example of justice and freedom. Venezuela is.

The whole of the western system of war and domination is grinding to a halt and activists are building a new culture ,almost invisible , but it is there.

The Kurdish people have a homeland. It has been occupied , colonised , as you must know, just as many other countries have been. Your comment, 'and what homeland would that be?' is obviously your denial of the Kurd's right to their ancient land. It has been occupied by Syria, Turkey and Iran. Please watch the video with an open mind and perhaps find out more about this. The US and UK have certainly let the Kurds down ,they were used .They have no help from the outside world. The UN should recognise Kurdistan as a sovereign country. A progressive, truly democratic country they are.

This article seems to be blaming the 'stupid Kurds' , which is strange considering they are fighting for their homeland every day. Potentially one of the world's true democracies, I am sure they were aware that 'help' from the warmongers, US and UK, was only temporary.

Agreed. The UN could still make a big effort to have Kurdistan recognised and condemn the Turkish attacks. I don't expect any help from US or UK.
