Star Talk : Bob and Susie Are Listening!

I like Emily way more than Bitchin' Kitchen, which is too much show and too little food. Having seen Justin in multiple venues now, I can say that he is the least likely for me to watch. Something about him grates on me as ingenuous. Maybe it's the lipstick. Maybe it's the way he bends forward, a move he was doing in the restaurant battle. He's just not appealing.

Big Government : 'The Impeachment of Richard Nixon and Other Things That Never Happened,' by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee

Unfortunately, you are only partially correct about Nixon's path to impeachment. It is true that he resigned to avoid impeachment, but the House of Representatives had already filed charges. Impeachment is, of course, the trial of an elected official. Once he left office, the House's action became moot. If you are going to criticize someone for getting history right or wrong, please get your own information right.

Daily Camera.com: : Despite earlier brooding, backyard chickens cause few problems in Longmont - Boulder Daily Camera

Hens do not need roosters to make eggs. They need roosters to make chicks from eggs. Adult chickens have a difficult time flying over fences. I think it's safe to assume that owners are providing coops for roosting.

Healthy Eats : Nachos, Lightened Up

We use veggie chili and our homegrown peppers and often leave off the cheese. Yes, you can have nachos without cheese! http://ozarkhomesteader.wordpress.com/

The New York Times posted a really helpful guide for amateurs on food photography earlier this week: http://dinersjournal.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/06... I post my food photos on my happy little seasonal, sustainable blog: http://ozarkhomesteader.wordpress.com/ I think my best recent food photo was spinach lasagna: http://ozarkhomesteader.wordpress.com/2010/04/07/... I benefitted from taking the photo in full daylight.
