Aww... I think the Thrawn Trilogy would make an amazing bunch of sequels to Star Wars. (Zahn treated the series very well-he's an excellent writer.)
But sadly that could only happen in a fantastical world where the system and nameless folks don't get involved and defile everything. Better to leave them in book form.

Oh well.

Finally somebody mentions JN Howard. Unless I missed it somewhere else...

So he happens to be Shyamalan's go-to guy, and people differ in opinion on him...
As someone who enjoyed both Signs and Lady in the Water, the soundtracks for both were stellar regardless.

It's in the first monologue list that he did; don't want to spoil anything in there though.

Eh, we have one here, (http://banknd.nd.gov/) but heck no, I'm not endorsing more of them.

I don't know enough about the ND state bank to tell if it's actually managed well or just a matter of time. (As far as I know, the state itself has been operating within its means since before this whole oil deal, though maybe we've been sucking a lot of pork out of DC to do so.) Washington state, though, is $2.5 billion in the red. How is putting them in charge of more money a good idea?

That's more of what I thought- Don't get me wrong, I like the series a lot, and still play R6 Vegas II with friends on occasion, but when I saw the interview...

(Forgive me for not shortening the hyperlink, but watch the first video. Not even 30 seconds in, they discuss the "True Patriots", and later speculate on what it would take "those people" to resort to violence against a government that they don't feel represents them.)

It seems a lot more anti-Tea Party than OWS. Very disappointing. Seems like they're going to crap up an otherwise good game by alienating part of the fan base. (Would have alienated some by hitting OWS too, but still...)

"The ‘TWD‘ producers like to talk about how their show is about the people, not the zombies. Why that’s supposed to be a good thing is unclear. Regardless, part of the payoff should be watching people we like and root for, not ones who are so lame that the entire series seems to consist of them doing stupid things in the first five minutes and then trying to unscrew them for the next hour."

Amen. My brother and I watched the first few episodes in anticipation of an intelligent (and as a result long-lived) take on the zombie outbreak idea. Between that and the left-leaning stereotyping, disappointment comes in many flavors now.

Totally photoshopped.

That's definitely the stained glass filter.

Shoot, I could be doing this right now.

I was going to finish my B.S. in Victimization this semester, but the program lost accreditation here when nobody got less than an A. I think they're suing the board though.

Ask those guys what their opinions are about China. I'm sure things aren't nearly as bad there as they are in the prudish U.S. of A.

Not a monument, a momument.

It all seems vaguely freudian. Never mind that it's a giant green willy doing the talking.
