CMT : Reader View :: add0n.com

Hi. I'm trying to figure out why many of my .css amendments are working. I'm using the Nord light theme. Here's one example that's not working: body[data-mode="nord-light"] div#content iframe #document html body a#reader-domain { color: blue !important; font-size: 20px } Here's the page, even after cycling RV, even after reloading RV: And here's the inspection of the page. I tried to nail it down tight, but I'm missing something. However, plain `a#reader-domain { color: blue !important; }` does work. Thanks.

CMT : Reader View :: add0n.com

Yes. For instance, under Dvorak the qwerty D key is an E. I have Ctrl-Shift-E mapped to show the extensions page in Vivaldi. Reader View has Ctrl-Shift D mapped to Design Mode. When I press Ctrl-Shift-(dvorak)E I don't get the expected extensions page, I get design mode. Reader View intercepts the command and interprets it as a D. That is the problematic part. If I press Ctrl-Shift-(dvorak)D, I don't get design mode, which I should under Reader View, I get Vivaldi's Downloads side panel. This is a proper mapping, so this part is understandable.

Excellent. Thank you. But some problems with shortcuts. Under Linux / KDE desktop, it does not recognize some keys properly. My keyboard layout is English/Dvorak. The E is read as D.

: Why Do They Slaughter Their Victims?

This article explains how they can slaughter their victims, but not why they do so. They do so because they are not taught the inherent value of human life, because their god is less than personal. They instead are taught false grievance and superiority, and a hatred of the "other". Essentially it comes down to Ishmael's envy of Isaac.

: Why Islam Leads to Violence

I can't agree with this. There are plenty of abstract philosophies/theologies which advocate peaceful coexistence. Whether they do so successfully or not is another issue, as indeed I believe that in order to be viable in the long term a philosophy must deal with man's sinful, fallen nature, as does Christianity. Islam's violence problem is not that it is abstract, it is in the content of its precepts. And indeed, there is a historical context to its principles as well, as Muhammad's doctrine conveniently followed his personal needs season by season. Unfortunately for the world, the progression did not go from warlike to pacifist, but the reverse. It's also dangerous to cite the similarities of the three monotheisms, while not noting their immense differences. The character of the god of islam is markedly different from that of Christianity's God.

Professing to be wise, they became fools... Denigrate marriage, and watch what happens to society. Destroy the family and you won't be able to write enough laws to restrict behavior. The commitment and the sanctity have a lot to do with strengthening marriage and the family against the vicissitudes of life.

Commentary Magazine : Why Dems Loved Biden’s Boorish Behavior

most Republicans think Democrats are wrong, not evil. I tell you the truth, that may be changing. All these blatant lies, and the use of divisiveness to secure reelection despite the grave harm it does to the country, is beginning to add up and wear down. Throw in the incompetence that is harming us in the world, and you have a toxic mix. At some point the Dems must own their behavior.

> Meanwhile, the Obama campaign keeps “losing” the news cycle. Not an easy thing to do, when the media is so corrupt and delusional, but obama is achieving it. There is a point - believe it or not - when even our media will abandon obama in order to salvage some slight semblance of appearance of professionalism. I believe we actually are close to that point, as obama's incompetence, mendacity and ugliness of spirit are no longer possible to cover over.

Read those links. The facts are clear that the GOP historically supported civil rights more than the Dems. But they did it in a responsible way, so the Dems co-opted the movement with the help of their PR arm, the mainstream media. But as Coulter says, the Dems have never been about treating blacks as responsible adults. Enter the decidedly unreverend Jackson and Sharpton and the rest of the race pimps that keep blacks in bondage through an embittered sense of entitlement. They are the blacks' worst enemies. For proof, look at the Democrat party's sellout to the teachers unions in their opposition to the one single thing that would raise blacks out of the ghetto: school choice.

Commentary Magazine : Artur Davis: The Fun Speech

Davis' speech has been the highlight of a quite lackluster convention. His money line about the dawn, though, was unfortunately mangled and could have been a lot more powerful. This is the dawning of us remembering who we are as a nation. The other pleasurable speech was by Mia Love, the Utah mayor who has her eyes set on higher office. She was truly genuine. And that's more than I can say for most of the rest. Santorum and Ann were dreadful, I'm sorry to say. Christie was ok. Walker was very good. The Pubs are doing such great work around the country, in the face of obama's unprecedented assault on our core governing values. It's a shame they are not being more effective in communicating what they're doing, and the critical need for what they're doing, to their audience.

Ryan is the nuclear option. Obama will no longer be able to hide behind a smear campaign, though he will still try because he has no other choice. And the VP debate promises to be almost an almost inhumane match-up. Romney has done very well indeed to force an aggressive campaign on the issues. It's time for America to shake off the Dem-media complex and decide on her future.

You could give the Arabs all the land but five square miles, and they would immediately try to take the rest. They are not interested in peace. It conflicts with their religion. Any land under Israeli control can be occupied by Jewish or Arab citizens of Israel. Try owning land as a Jew in an Arab land and see what happens. To sell to a Jew is a capital crime in the "Palestinian" territories. It'll get you thrown out a third-story window.
