is skate ranch a super common name for skating rinks? there was one in my hometown (lubbock, tx) that we had like weekly "school nights" at in my elementary school. i mainly went during the latter part of the 90s when the kids who had to rent four-wheeled skates were seen as "uncool" and not having roller blades was certain social death.
