I switched to SLS free shampoo a couple of years ago, buying mine from Holland and Barrett. My favourite range is the Avalon Organics range, especially the lemon scented one and since switching my hair has been much less oily so I've been able to cut down on frequency of washing 😊

I have at least 4 pairs of stork scissors, but I do a lot of knitting and sewing so need several pairs for when I lose them!

Oh, Christmas bedding, Christmas kitchen roll, Christmas napkins, trays, bunting, films, snacks, the list goes on.....!

In my house no decorations are allowed until after my December 1st birthday. We December babies disappear under Christmas as it is, lol!!!!!

I love Makeup Revolution products, although my nearest Superdrug is not yet a stockist but there is one at the local retail park so all is not lost! I'm a recent convert to their natural radiance range, it has really made my skin look, if not exactly radiant, in much better condition than it has done for a very long time. I used to be very much a Boots girl as well, but Superdrug has become so much better in recent years that I'm shopping in there more and more.

I love the B. finishing brush for applying liquid foundation. I get such a prefect finish :-)

I use Lux facial soap, which I buy from eBay (£4.99 for 3 bars) as you cannot buy it in the UK any more. Both my grandmothers used it and had beautiful skin, which I'm hoping they've passed onto me!

The Dead Sea Mud one sounds worth popping into Holland and Barrett for on my next trip into town.

We have a family joke that Christmas isn't Christmas unless Mum leaves a price label on! However, those that leave them on deliberately to show off how much they have spent - pshaw! Who cares? The joy should be in the giving, it's not a competition. We have given up on stockings this year as we were all struggling to find things at stocking filler prices, instead we are putting that money aside and having a family meal in January when everything is grey and gloomy.
I am in 100% agreement over the stress of Christmas shopping. I loathe it and love that I can do a lot of it online nowadays. I generally love Christmas and feel that a brightly lit, food filled celebration of some sort is necessary at this time of year. Our distant ancestors would hold their celebrations so that the sun would come back, nowadays we know that the sun never really goes away but we need something to keep us going through the dark days of winter.

I use an eye make up remover, then cold cream or Nivea which I wipe off with cotton wool. I then use Simple make up wipes after that, instead of a toner, just to make sure my face is properly clean, followed by moisturiser. I find this works best for me.
