Never thought about it like that. I know about ease in sewing, since I sew. Hadn't thought about negative ease in knit items. Makes sense. Visiting from A to Z
Nice group of sewing accomplishments. I'm going to try to remember to take pictures this year to be able to do that. Love the small One Little Word quilt. Never thought about that. Like you I'm still looking for my word. I've toyed with "change" and "consistent" not sure yet.

Opportunity Knocking
Of course we're genuine, people wouldn't listen to us, or care what we said if we were fake. It's the method we use that makes me feel like it's a performance. Talking one on one to those I know, even slightly is much easier than going up to a stranger, sticking my hand out and introducing myself. Even that is easier than speaking in front of a group. Either way, with my 'cloak of strength' I manage to muddle through and hopefully, share with others.
So many of us introverts act like extroverts, we should all be receiving academy awards, or tony awards, or something because we manage to 'fake it' so well. I didn't realize until reading your post, I also reward myself by crashing. I thought the crashing had to do with the travel time, but I think it has as much to do with the energy expended speaking and being out there in the public eye. You call it 'being purposeful' I call it, 'putting on my armor.' I put on an invisible cloak that allows me to act comfortable when speaking or meeting others. Yes, of course, Christ is that cloak. Not sure I could do it otherwise.
Wonderful interview. As someone else said, I'd have commented even without the added incentive of prizes. But, hey, who doesn't like prizes. Loved to learn this was just the first book in a trilogy. Haven't read the book yet, but am looking forward to it. Since I first 'met' you Mariam this has sounded like my kind of book. Good luck with the series, and this hop. :) ~Quilted Blessings, Nita
Like you I like food. There are few foods I don't like, or have no interest in trying, however generally if God meant for it to be consumed, I will. However since you asked so sweetly here are a few of my favorites:
1. anything I don't have to prepare myself
2. anything that can be eaten with a minimum of cleanup
3. anything my mother-in-law cooked (although this is no longer available to me)
4. Vegetables (almost all of them)
My last meal choice would depend on when and my mood. If a winter last meal probably brown (pinto) beans, cornbread (no sugar), fried potatoes and spinach (I'm weird, I know.) Then again, I might just want a bowl of chicken and dumplings, or maybe biscuits with sausage and gravy. For a summertime last meal my choice would probably smoked brisket with grilled veggies.
Now, aren't you sorry you asked? ~Nita
Weeds can be considered the underdogs of life, and I almost always root for the underdog. :) I remember in high school, one of my friends' dad spent hours erasing (or trying) the dandelions from his lawn. My dad's approach was more, "eh, it's green, it's good." Of course, I understand that once they flower and seed, everyone in the neighborhood has dandelions in their yard. But, really is that a bad thing? Recently some friends sprayed for weeds in their yard, then complained they needed to buy grass seed, because they didn't have a lawn. I'm more like my dad, it's green, it's good, it's ok. Thanks for the reminder, it's all in how you look at it. :) ~Nita
OK, you sold me. Like you, I seldom read romance. It's even rarer I read a christian romance. However, your review has me thinking this might be one I'd enjoy so I'll be on the lookout for it. Thanks. ~Nita
