I, like you, Kristen, didn't find this community until after I'd experienced loss, and I felt sooooo supported through all of the emotional hurricane that followed. Since then, I've had two successful pregnancies, and to be honest, it's not that I feel excluded, I just remember how jealous and angry (and somewhat disillusioned and deluded, not that anyone else should or shouldn't feel that way, it's just where I was then) I was during that time, and am afraid of saying the wrong thing or accidentally "rubbing it in". I also know that so much is so easy to say from "the other side". I would never want to make anyone feel worse, no matter where they are in this process. I've also gotten a lot busier, so I've not had time to blog as often, but I check in on you and lots of others almost every day. Please feel free to comment or check in with me anytime! I'm in a much healthier place and am much better able to talk and empathize than I was, and would love to still be a part of things.

Hahaha!!! Hilarious! I once flashed the entire college baseball team coming out of class and pulling my backpack over my shoulders. The worst part was my mother falling out of her chair laughing when I called her at work to cry about it!

Glad she came through ok! Yeah, Shoulder surgery is brutal, and usually takes longer than they think it will. But if she's that determined/stubborn, she'll do fine, and probably have better mobility than the doctor when it's all over with!

I found you, like a bazillion years ago, on ICLW, and we just clicked! I totally get your sense of humor, and you get mine, and I enjoy reading about the exploits of your sons and husband. I can relate to having crazy hours, and trying to run a crazy household in them!

Oh, hon, I hope you feel better soon. And by the way, I think you're funny all the time!

Wow. I understand not paying to have the car fixed because of the economy, but Wallpaper? Seriously? And my neighbor thinks we're trash because my husband works on our cars instead of taking them to the mechanic and blowing a bazillion dollars. I told my husband to "Quick, string up the clothesline!"
