Mushrooms and sausage -- a perennial favorite, though I also like olives and Canadian bacon/pineapple combo and red onion...

This was absolutely fantastic! I love the amazing crunch and how it's not a thick doughy batter.

You're so right, Lisa. And there's so much love in these photos. How nice that you've had someone along to chronicle for you.

Thank you for these reminders that Jesus is I AM! Have been studying the way of wisdom (Proverbs) which points directly to Jesus as The Way.

Thank you for your perspective on the prayers of women. I'd always grown up hearing my parents pray -- mom's longer, more empathetic and detailed; dad's shorter more succinct prayers.

Those are great smile-makers this week, Catherine! Isn't it wonderful to hear good news from friends and family? So pleased to hear that at your husband's feeling better.

What an amazing post filled with babies -- known, unknown, related, healthy, needing heart surgery, and loved. How wonderful that your girls class is learning to love this way.

Wonderful markers, Lisa. I appreciate your comment about getting to know your eternal family members here and now. So much has happened in your 2011 -- opportunities, as you say, to lean on God more and more.

I'm in the middle of listening to this gorgeous audiobook now and though I love both readers' voices, I find Fiona Hardingham's odd pauses really distracting. There are sections where she's reading more normally (like in your sample), but more often (further into the book), her phrasing makes it difficult to listen to. Because of my commute, I listen to a lot of audiobooks. Sometimes, though, when a book is as beautifully written as yours, I want to get a hard copy.
