I really feel you on The Opportunities I've Been Given .... limited access to elite social networks and no safety nets (plus, for me, some lightweight social anxiety) just really exemplifies the difference between being born with privilege and not--it's just fucking hard to do shit sometimes.

The first time I heard it I was convinced it was a remix of Chromeo's Jealous. I'm still always surprised when similar sounding songs with the same name come out around the same time.

I'm so happy this is not a Christianity-related religious piece!

What I find hardest about being inconsistent with religion, is having to explain my choices to people. 'Why don't you eat pork if you're not religious???' or 'Why do you drink but not eat pork??' Why does it matter to people? I feel like everyone is inconsistent in some ways, but I feel like I get asked these questions more pointedly. I don't know. Maybe everyone with a religious background and non-religious behavior gets this.

I think my brother may be one of those "nature not misogyny " types and I don't know what to do about it. UGHHH.

Also, I keep getting pretty sexist pop up ads here, which seem very poorly targeted -- "What Men Actually Want in Women" & " CAUGHT-- Celebs Checking Out Racks"
