Both of these sound really good! A Criminal Magic was on one of my recent WoW and I've loved everything Emery Lord has written so far.

I'm so excited for this! I've only heard good things and it sounds very different from typical books in the YA genre. I haven't read any westerns, but I love watching western movies and western history. Plus, the cover is so beautiful I might buy a hard copy of this! That's pretty rare for me :)

I think this book sounds really fun. I haven't read any Egyptian mythology books yet, but I really like those type of stories. I'll probably pick this up eventually when I need something quick, although the problems that you had (especially the emphasis on looks) will be problems for me too. Anyway, I'm still excited to read this.

I think this book has an interesting premise, but not necessarily one that I'd want to read. I like Patrick Ness, so I'll probably pick this up to see what I think, but I'm not sure how it is going to work.

I liked this one too! I liked it more than the original trilogy and felt that it was a big improvement in many ways. I'm interested to see how it all wraps up, because I was pretty split on which guy I liked the most and what would happen politically.

I like the summary for this, so I'll be picking it up when it comes out. I'm glad to see you enjoyed it and I'm hoping I'll like it just as much. Plus, I love seeing new writer's style develop over time!

I agree! I want to see more characters who love books or have hobbies outside of saving the world/getting their relationship. I think it makes the character more realistic too!

I haven't read The Start of Me and You yet, but knowing it has bookish characters makes me more excited! I've seen Katy and Darcy on many lists as well today.

If I know that I will be reading the book no matter what the reviews - like for last books in a series or auto buy authors, I will preorder. It's easier for me than remembering the release date and going to the physical book store when it comes out. Plus, they make for a nice present to myself! I don't preorder debuts though, just because I want to wait for reviews to make sure I'm spending money on a good book.

This book actually sounds really good. I might read it later, mostly because I don't think that I'm the right reader at this time for it. But the summary alone makes me really sad! This sounds so touching.
