Yes!! Oh my. My thoughts exactly. I was one of those unwed, pregnant mothers, and I was ashamed before my church. I had no one to talk to. You just sparked some writing on this topic. Thank you, thank you for this comment. Blessings.

hi Lori,

i wish i had known when i was first married, that only God can change my husband's heart. i grieve over all the wasted time that i tried to manipulate him into doing what i wanted. now we know the freedom of living as God designed it--the wife submitted and the husband the covering. i love my husband so much. great post!

Lisa,

just stopping by from Ann's and seedling in stone. saw your post there. this is a great reminder that we are all the same. Jesus sees us the same, no matter if we are homeless, if we dress proper or talk proper or not, we are all the same, all sinners saved by grace. this was good.

hi Lori,

over from Ann's.

a woman being willing to change...yes, a woman realizing that she has sin and needs to obey the word of God concerning her husband her home...it has been life-changing for me as well. i read Debi Pearl's book and have never been the same since. i hesitate to recommend her book, because it is a little harsh and if not taken with grace, can cause a woman to try to live by the law, and i know that is not how God wants us to view ourselves or our marriage. but i still tell people about the book anyway, because without it, i would have never had my eyes opened and i would still be living in the same sin my mother taught me and i would be passing it on to my children...how sad.

thanks for writing was may seem hard to swallow, but is so needed. we need to look at those around us that God has gifted us with and love them radically--like Jesus.

blessings in His grace,

Nacole

oh Shaunie,
the pictures are captivating and gorgeous. great job! you reminded me of something so important--how big God is and how small i am. i loved your list--especially # 798 and 799--i find it funny those two are back to back, but love anything mocha, and all us women know losing a few pounds is something to celebrate, right?! also really liked #803 and 804--because these are the little things that make up a family. so sweet to savor the moments we have together!
