the moments that I am most thankful for and that matter the most are the kindnesses shared with strangers ... each day is like a scavenger hunt, watching for opportunities to help another in some way ... or even just pick up a piece of trash and throw it away ... always there is something kind to do that is in my path for me to act upon ... to paraphrase john wesley:
be as kind as you can
in all the ways that you can
in all the places that you can
at all the times that you can
to all the people you can
as long as ever you can

happy thanksgiving ... am thankful for these inspiring offerings ... every day this is a place of wonderful sharings ... always helpful and insightful ... full of wisdom and positive energy ... I love the comments and am thankful to all who respond and post their comments ... even though today and everyday it is a healing practice to always be appreciative and grateful, we have a 'thank you thursday' practice where every thursday is a day to be especially mindful of gratitude and the day is dedicated to acts of kindness and writing thank yous and sharing appreciation and validation in every encounter ... yes, I practice gratitude and thanks everyday ... and love deepening the practice on thank you thursdays!! thank you so very much
