Well done Kate!! Loving the numbers!! And you're already a runner - you know that don't you? It doesn't matter if it's one kilometre or five. You just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be getting the benefits for a long time to come. xx

So good to hear you're feeling such positive change! Well done on the running too. It doesn't matter how far or fast you go, you're moving, and the mental benefits go far beyond the physical. Can you imagine how good we'll feel by the end? Life changing I'd say. xx

I went into this program to change my overall health and fitness. Having been an emotional eater for years, it was really getting out of hand, so I thought this would be my best approach. It is definitely working for me because I'm just doing it for myself. I'm not competing with anyone. I'm not exercising for hours and eating under the calorie quota. I'm also not reading forums or anything else. I simply do my best every day, and write a small blog every night about it. This isn't a 12 week plan for me. It's a lifestyle I want to embrace and maintain far beyond that. I think as long as we're doing it for ourselves, we will get the physical and mental benefits that we need. x

That's fantastic, what a great week! I was craving something sweet this week and tried an Aero choc mousse from the dairy section. Not too bad at all for 67 calories. x

I haven't bought a heart rate monitor so don't know exactly how many calories I'm burning in a session. Normally I'd freak out about stuff like that, but I'm doing my absolute best, training every day. I want to maintain it once the 12 weeks is over, so I'm taking this on board as a lifestyle change. Have been obsessed with the Berry Bruschetta for breakfast! I'm also subsitututing some meals using the recipe index on the site. Keep up the great work!! x

Go Kate! I've also jumped on the breakfast bandwagon - I've become obsessed with the Berry Bruschetta - though I'm using smooth ricotta. Beats a blueberry muffin any day! x

Well done on the C25k! That's fantastic that you're doing it again. I did it back in 2010, and the best way I got through it was to actually blog it every time I ran it! Of course I'm not going to blog every day of the 12wbt, but it is definitely motivating to commit to it on the blog, and of course connecting with other like minded people. Wishing you much success on the journey ahead! x

I have three sliding doors. I used to think about all of them on a daily basis until I had Miss A. Then I closed those doors forever. Life is just so hard to figure out sometimes, but I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, even if it's not apparent or rather heartbreaking at the time.

I read this post this morning and was heading back to comment, then I read your latest post! Gosh, the mind boggles at the parenting and relationship dynamics going on in that household.
Anyhoo, back to Georgie Porgie and all his pies. I'm in the process of cooking up a whole heap of new pies, and throwing away the crap ones. Man, some of my pies have been in the oven for so long I'd forgotten I'd even made them!
But I'll also say, keep cooking the blogging pie. Often we think this is one we need to change, but if you follow the recipe, I think it's a pie that tastes good every single time! Does that even make sense? Who knows Gem, I'm so busy cooking these new pies I can't even think straight! xx
