It blows my mind that the Very Secret Diaries were written by Cassandra Clare. You can really see the ff influence in her books, though.

Yess. What were those even called? There's a moving company around Seattle that has two of them as their logo ("the Moving Angels," whaat) and seeing one of their vans never doesn't squick me out.

Lord bless and keep you, Jaya, if for no other reason than the Rather Good clip you included. Viking kittens? Orange game? Crab of ineffable wisdom? Yes and yes (and yes).

I am really in love with everyone in these comments. Putting it out there for the Livejournal (later, Deadjournal) crowd, Cleolinda's Movies in Fifteen Minutes, Potter Puppet Pals, THE NANCING PONY?, MSN groups (sadly my page "Hugs4Hobbits no longer exists, sorry little me), and many many thousands of hours of fanfiction.net. No regrets.

I was also part of a Tolkien community hosted (I think?) on MSN, or maybe GeoCities, called I Nili o i Ardanole. I have a little woe in my little heart that I did not keep up with the pen pals I made through that site. Did anyone else ever come across it?
