http://makingsenseofcents.com/ : Keeping Up With The Joneses

I love beside the joneses it seems. They are always buying this or that. Just bought a brand nw top of the line Yukon, die died after 5 years she just didn't like her stainless steel side by side fridge and ordered a new on the oth day. It only cost 2000 dollars she said, no big deal. We struggle since I've lost my job and its so hard to watch the careless spending of money. But I know they don't have money in the bank and someday I will. I always try to remember that just bacause you have more things, doesn't mean you have more money. We're only human to feel jealous.
http://makingsenseofcents.com/ : My Money Obsession/Confession

My gosh. I wrote a post about this too a while back. About how spending makes me feel, but ultimately what my relationship with money is really like. I feel like we are doing ok, but I know we could be doing better. When I read about sock ,bonds, investments, passive incomes, etc..my mind clouds over. I want to learn all of that and apply it n life, but I'm so scared of losing it all and messing up. I worry constantly about money, if we will always have an income, what will happen if this or that happens, are we prepared. I don't have any answers as to why I do that either or how to overcome it. It's nice to know I'm. Ot alone

Well-Heeled, With a Mission : Fess Up Friday: What's All This Planning FOR?

That's so sad. About everything. We have friends who just lost their second son a few months back. They've now lost both their boys. Sometime you just wonder what their plan is....all we can do is live life while we are around and hope that we,ve left a legacy for people to remember us by when we go.

From Shopping to Saving : Why I Love Having a Female Boss

I think it all depends on the company you work for and what there philosophy of work life balance is. I worked for a company that had no respect for work life balance. In fact they actually called it work life choice. Like either chose me or the other, there's o way to balance both. Flexibility is the key in this day and Ae and working the old cookie cutter method just doesn't work anymore. It's those companies that can see that, that are the companies that are doing well. Congrats. It must feel great to be that valued at work. I hope you can make it work out.

Postpartum Progress : 6 Surprising Symptoms of Postpartum Depression and Anxiety

i had the anger. such anger. for 2 years. i was always angry. always yelling at someone or frustrated to the point of crying. i couldn't communicate without losing my temper. i just couldn't control it. i wish i knew then that that was a symptom as well, i may have sought help earlier as well. I didn't fully understand what was going on until i couldn't stop crying. Its been 4 years since i went for help, but i still feel the guilt and shame of it all still like it was yesterday. We have healed alot as a family but there are still somethings we are unable to talk about. I wonder all the time when i will forgive myself for what i put everyone through.

great article about your love for your dads. its so nice to hear a young woman speak kindly of her father or father's in your case. you are very lucky to have 2 important men in your life who love you. thanks for the link up as well. as for step children, i imagine that is a hard relationship to navigate. i've seen my nephew go through it and it breaks my heart to see him adjust and try to please so many people.

From Shopping to Saving : Rich People Like Fake Jewelry Too

if i had the money to buy something "real" in the first place, i would most certainly wear it. I can barely afford to buy nice "fake" things for myself so anything i buy would be worn or used. Having said that, i almost never wear my wedding ring. Not because im afraid someone will steal it or it will get lost, im just not a ring person. I wear fake necklaces and earrings though. someone should invent a wedding necklace.
