I totally agree with you. My partner is on the Autistic spectrum and I feel a lot of the time he is treated unfairly as a result. Most of the time, people really don't care that much unless it's directly effecting them! I do think that people share these "awareness" posts, like you say, just to jump on the bandwagon! x
