gb8898, it's all about the RULES OF ENGAGEMENT being changed by the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

Just look at the rise in DEAD FAMILY MEMBERS (casualties is too sanitary a term once you have received that life altering knock at your front door) since OBAMA became Commander in Chief!

hans_olo, then what would you say to families like ours? To bad, we quit and your family member died for naught?
Just read the three part series I wrote DEATH AT THE FRONT DOOR and let me know if you change your mind.

What needs to be done is change the RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, untie the hands of our family members in a war and let them kill the enemy and break as many of the enemies things as possible. Did you know that they are not allowed to shoot at night because it will disturb the locals? So if they see some insurgent (enemy) planting an IED they simply let him walk away!!!

You only need to look (statistically) at the number of our family members killed in action since Obama took over as Apologizer in Chief. The rules of engagement are rediculous. Towers that once stood outside of villages allowing US to see into the villages had to be taken down because some villagers complained that they felt like they were being spied on. If individuals are seen planting an IED at night the military is forbidden from shooting and killing them. It would disturb the villagers.

Mr. Obama is definately the Green President but the green is not referring to his energy stance. Obama Green is referring to his green-horn approach to foreign policy and his love to print money and give it to his cronies!

For the first time I am thankful that Our American Hero was not burried in Arlington! I can imagine the inner pain and unanswered questions this family has. It IS very difficult.
