Interesting.

There was a time in my life when I would not be caught DEAD without my makeup on. At the very least, concealer and eyeliner. Today, I'll absolutely go grocery shopping with naught but a few zits to add color. I think of it as my "evolution." Also blame it on my son.

I suppose a good balance is ideal? There's no denying how GREAT you feel when you know that you look good. A little makeup. A little hair time. It makes you feel great. And why in the world shouldn't you feel great? If it does, indeed, make you feel that?

Hello! Thanks for paying a little visit to the ol' blog :)

I always adored that dress Carrie wore, and those shoes are amazing. I would also love them in a nude color -- I'm still on the search for the perfect nude platform stiletto pumps.

I know this is coming late, but I just wanted to chime in briefly and say that you are a brave woman for sticking to your guns and doing things YOUR way and not trying to conform to someone else's idea of what is right and wrong. YOU know your body, no one else does. Insecurity and jealousy are two plagues that women tend to get hit with very frequently, and it's a shame that so often we can take it out on each other. You look amazing, you are amazing, and always remember when you get that one nasty comment -- there are 87 other kind, loving, and supportive ones.

PS Love you in that black and white dress. I hope I'm so sexy a momma when I become one!

The blogosphere has greatly changed my pantry staples! A couple things that I always have on hand now, that I never did before: Maca, Raw cacao, coconut oil & butter, chia seeds, NOOCH (I love to sprinkle it on everything, but especially spaghetti squash with tomato sauce. mmm), Almond butter, and best of all, so much produce I have to find new places to store it all!

I'd love to learn about Mesquite and would also like to hear more about Maca. I have implemented it into my diet for a little "engine revving" and to balance out wonky hormones due to BC.
