Listverse : Top 10 Internet Plagues

Governments are at fault for using Windows - the least safe OS around - for their high security systems. If Microsoft wasn't such a shit about dominating the computer world through their illegal bundling hackers and virus writers would maybe not have hated them so much. Any company or government that uses software KNOWN to have major security exploits is just asking to be hacked or targeted for a virus.

I could see a couple of these as educational or for use by child psychologists (the pee/poo and breast feeding dolls). The rest are kind of weird. Are you positive the reborn baby doll is for children and not adults? My MIL has a "baby" doll that is definitely not a toy doll to be played with. Also, when was the Pee Wee Herman doll manufactured? He was very popular before the whole icky incident.

Listverse : 10 Surprising Facts About The Confederacy

Federal troops had Gatlin Guns. They were considered to be more humane than standard guns which produced a slow death. I'm not aware of them being used in any of the great battles though - I'm not a CW historian, just an enthusiast.

Listverse : Top 10 Haunted US College Campuses

If I'm remembering correctly, the CSU Channel Islands buildings were formerly the Camarillo State Mental Hospital - rumored to be the model for the cover of the Eagle's Hotel California album. It's never been proven, but there was a building on the site that looked suspiciously like the album cover art. A friend and I once went there and were able to just walk into the buildings and through the halls. It was very creepy.

I must say that I think the new site is lovely and easy to use. I particularly like the home page organization & style. Colors are nice and easy on the eyes. Finally, like so many others I'm sure, I am so grateful you ditched the cursor ads long ago, lol. Excellent work all around! Having been through some site updates on other sites that were NOT so easy, I give you two thumbs up on a smooth transition.

Listverse : Top 15 Miniseries of all Time

These are great mostly-western miniseries. However, most television shows in Japan are somewhat serialized in their concept. There is a fantastic, moving Japanese show that was called Haru & Natsu, the Letters that Never Arrived. It's 8 episodes I believe, and recounts the story of two sisters separated during pre-WW2 Japan. One travels to Brazil and the other remains behind. Many many years later, they reunite. It's got scenes in it that made us cry they were so very touching and moving, and delves into the virtually unknown aspect of Japanese emigration to South America, and the plight of those emigrees.. In America it was shown on NHK Television with subtitles. If you get a chance to watch it, you will not be disappointed!

He went to that meeting with guns in his lunch bag and one in his car. He did not file a grievance with his union and the union president was AT the meeting - and was killed. Regardless of his feelings and perspective, if he truly felt there was racism at his workplace, he could have taken many other courses of action to draw attention to the situation. He planned to kill people that day. He planned to kill people who he felt were racist, in the absence of following any sort of process set forth by his union. He wanted to play God. He wanted to steal from his employer (on video btw) and didn't want the consequences (getting fired). If they had just wrote him up instead of firing him, do you really think he would have just said "hey my bad, sorry" and let it go?
