{Kathy} Yes, a little reasonable clutter does take about 15 minutes to clear up. That means that everything has a place. When we go overboard we are tempted to burn out in a particular area. My husband just recently decided to "go through all of his books" — right before we were going to have a family meal. Well, they are still sitting in small piles around my bedroom. There is no way I am going to stop for an hours and straighten them! It will get done, 5 minutes at a time.

{Kathy} Well I am right here with you my dear! The "plain party" movement can start right here, right now. We have overdone everything in our kids' lives that should be simple and easy, setting them up to think that life is, well, one big extravagant party. Let's do it. I'm ready.

{Kathy} As I sit here writing this comment, I am surrounded by the following: a pile of poker chips, a pile of laundry, a pile of papers and a pile of toys. Next question? Oh…..and a laundry basket filled with stuff that was 'piled" in there when I knew I was having company that day. It's still about 6 inches full of piles. Whew.

{Kathy} Oh Simone…Can I just show up to your Glamping site and pitch with you guys? I really want to like camping. The sleeping on uncomfortable beds is the worse part. I like your idea of bringing a big ol' mattress with you.

{Melinda} You GO hit that Popcorn button, Ginny! Throw caution to the wind! :) When I want to shut out the world, I grab my daughter's old Hello Kitty blanket, cuddle up on the couch and watch the Food Network. Sigh.

{Melinda} That looks so yummy! I need you to come and cook for me, Paloma! But it sounds like neither of us have time! :)

{Melinda} I often pray that I don't miss the opportunities He has for me each day while I'm busy trying to accomplish MY "to-do" list. When I'm willing to take those detours, they are usually the sweetest parts of my day!

{Melinda} Absolutely love the Christmas play. Too. adorable. I absolutely adore your Christmas book, Simone. I am a co-host on a FB page called Moms Together of more than 12,000 women ... going to share your book on our "Friday Favorites" day next Friday. Hope that will allow more moms and children to enjoy it. It is wonderful.

So, so excited they are making it into a film! That is so exciting. You are so incredibly talented. And you have absolutely adorable children. :)
