Listverse : 10 Cases of Natural Gender Inequality

@TEX - black with white polka dots @arsnl - i'm sorry, didn't want to appear immodest. i also apologize for the superfluous percent sign. @nic_s - i've heard this before. i honestly don't care if i have it or not. if i do, it's very slight, as i can still interact fairly well, i just prefer not to. my only problems come when i say something as i did above about IQ and people think i'm being arrogant. i don't mean to sound that way, my filter is just a little inaccurate. anyway, my remark was just to state that these gender inequalities don't apply to everyone, and quite a few defy them by excelling in an area they aren't "supposed" to.

my boyfriend was completely incompetent when it came to directions and i was able to navigate almost anywhere using NSEW directions. i am also in the 99.97% percentile when it comes to intelligence and am astute at reading people. but, i am poor at maintaining close inter-personal connections and prefer to spend much of my time in solitary pursuits. i don't, however, lament this. i've heard i think like a man. i prefer to think of myself as a women with unique mental capacities. interesting list, though ripe for potential controversies and cries of bias. i am not a fan of the perpetuation of gender disparities. do men form less close relationships because that is how they are or because that it what they believe is expected of them? does x lead to y or the other way around? one must be careful when dealing with such topics.

Sydney Carton (Tale of Two Cities): troubled, aloof, self-sacrificing, intelligent, unrequited in his love, brave, handsome. Why on earth is he not on this list?
