Ginger Won't Snap : Slimband Update: 7 Weeks In

Not sure what a "slim band" is but 1lb a week is slow & steady loss so I would think it would stay off. I am surprised your dietician is suggesting you eat cheeseburgers, pizza, etc though... I would go for a lifestyle change and avoid SAD for health reasons and to keep your weight loss off for good! :) On the boobs bit, I lost 50lbs and quite a bit from the top, but I wouldn't ever want that 50lbs back on me just for the sake of bigger boobs! lol! I much prefer my skinny jeans & size xs shirts! ;) Well keep up the good work! Weight loss isn't easy, but it's worth it! www.halfdozendaily.wordpress.com

Fabulously Broke in the City : The Art of Being …. Utterly SHAMELESS

LOL!! Great post! Totally made me laugh! :) Hmmm... shameless.. I honestly can't think of anything. But if there's a "defect" or if something is a "floor model" i'll ask for a discount.. even if it's already on sale. I've never been told "no", so hey! ;) My recent post I’ve been in a funky mood…

Fabulously Broke in the City : Are you suffering from frugal or debt fatigue?

I thought I had the perfect budget for us, we were comfortable and saving well, then a $500 drop in our income every month, which is BIG for a family of 6 already with a lower income... and now i've revamped our budget and there's not really any wiggle room which I hate. We're expecting another income drop in the summer, which is really when i'll be stressed. I guess i'll find out soon enough....
Fabulously Broke in the City : How I am Shopping Smarter: Cataloguing my clothing onto my iPod Touch

This is just awesome I think!! It's such a great way to cut down on unnecessary shopping, and like you said, get rid of what you don't like, or what doesn't look the way you want it to! :) I'm not shopping for myself this year, but I think when 2012 hits, i'm going to take "inventory" like this! Thanks for sharing! :) Now i'm gonna be nosey and look at all your clothes... haha! :P

I love that you always tell it like it is!!! :) Great post! I tend to not keep people like this in my life... I have a few "fair-weathered" friends, but I don't count on them for anything and when they make "plans" with me, I just nod my head and say "uh huh", knowing that it'll never materialize.

Fabulously Broke in the City : I know when you've re-gifted something, so why not come clean about it?

Hmmm... I don't know if I have or not... I don't usually "re-gift", but when we do, it's actually a new item, not one that's "unwanted". We received a double of a movie I just bought last month for Xmas.. so we regifted the newer movie (still wrapped in plastic) to one of dh's buddies.. he was thrilled to add it to his DVD collection and I dont' feel bad for not having a use for a 2nd copy of a movie.

Fabulously Broke in the City : How not to spend more than you make!

Awesome post!!! :) I just figured out my savings and we're at 19%.. (and many months I sock away more when I can!) for a one income family with 4 kids, I think we're doing well with our savings. The thing is our income will be dropping next summer, and i'm unsure where to put our savings. Right now most of it is going to Emergency savings, and the rest to long term because in 6 months we won't be able to save nearly as much so i'm trying to beef things up now...
