If I would be a brand owner I would like to put my logo on my new product. It`s normal. Pentax brand is really lucky - we can still see big name one the front of camera. But take a look any "new Minolta" cameras. What you will see? Sony... New owner new rules. At last quality of product is the most important for us (in my opinion). Name is just a sentiment - nothing more. And good photographer can take a pictures with Nike shoe box ;) And what about Ricoh? They have also good tradition as a camera producers in the past. They released very nice GR model last time. Untill is no watermark "RICOH" on the pictures taken with Ricoh/Pentax cameras I`m happy to use it.
Not stolen, rather bought. Personally I don`t care what is written on the back of new K-3. Rather I hope it will be great K5 replacement for me.
Till they do great cameras like Pentax K-5IIs or Ricoh GR I`m OK with things like name or what is written on camera/lens body. First thing for me is to take good pictures - camera is just a tool.
Yes. Hope you discover bit of the same. The best result I can see with built-in flash.
Yes you can, now I don't have to ;)
You can doubt if you like - I just see what I see. With built-in flash I could't use higher iso the 400 because all was overburned. Now I use iso 1600, f/1.8 plus flash and it works fine. Cooperation K-5 with Sigma EF 530 DG SUPER also looks better (not ideal but better).
I think working with flash works much better with new FW.
So? ....I know I didn't discover something new ;)
Of course I know what you mean and this is very subjective opinion (besides my way of thinking too). I am kind of pro photographer I mean I sell my photos and K- 5 is really enough for me. I know many pro photographers - they use much more simple equipment, old analog cameras, I know pinhole photographers etc. I agree it is just abou what is your direction in photography. In my - let say - kind of artistic way of doing pictures K-5 is really enough. But I can understand that for sport photographer K-5 can be not good solution. But many people writing on forums or blogs mostly just talking about "how could be great to have FF.... bla bla bla" i saw some pictures of this kind of talking photographers - they can just talk about photography. Nothing more. You know what i mean.
Hi guys. If you have already K-5 are you really disapointed of IQ from this camera? You really need FF to do good pictures? You think if you will have FF your photography will be more pro?? It is really big deal to wait for Pentax new model and till this moment using K-5?? Less talk, more enjoy & shooting pictures :)
